Gayatri gets `364cr for power plant

Infrastructure company Gayatri Projects on Friday said Sembcorp Utilities has infused `364 crore, as its first tranche of equity, into their joint venture Thermal Powertech Corp. India Ltd (TPCIL). TPCIL, a joint venture between Gayatri Energy Ventures and Sembcorp’s wholly-owned Utilities business, is setting up a 1,320 MW coal-fired power plant at Krishnapatnam, Nellore district.
