MIC to buy 51% stake in Bengaluru co

MIC Electronics, a Hyderabad-based manufacturer of LED lighting and LED display systems, on Monday said that it would acquire a 51 per cent stake in Bengaluru-based Avni Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd. The target company manufactures solid state LED Lighting systems for rural and commercial markets in Tirupati. The Hyderabad-based firm plans to use the facility to improve its presence and services in the southern states.
