Tata Motors mulls new truck variants
India’s largest commercial vehicles maker Tata Motors plans to increase the number of trucks under its Prima range of World Trucks, with the introduction of around 100 variants in the next two years, a person in the know of the development told NewsWire18. “As for the Tata Prima truck range, the platform is versatile, in that it is possible to have about 1,000 different configurations with different capabilities and applications at different price points. Over the next five years, we will further expand the range, in terms of models, horse power, and applications,” its spokesman said.
