‘Mel Gibson wanted to kill himself’

Hollywood actor Mel Gibson’s infamous anti-Semitic outburst at a police officer was an attempt to commit suicide by “death by cop” after his wife ended their 26-year-long marriage, according to a friend of the star.
The Braveheart star tried to goad a police office into drawing his weapon and shoot by hurling anti-Semitic slurs after he was stopped for drink driving, the source told Vanity Fair magazine.
The 2006 incident led to the steady decline of the Oscar winning actor’s once glittering Hollywood career.
But a close friend has revealed Gibson is not anti-Jewish but was on a mission to die because he was devastated after his wife Robyn left him.
Death by cop is a popular way of suicide in the US where people deliberately provoke police offices into using their weapons.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
