‘Pregnant’ Carey slips on stage
Popstar Mariah Carey, who is reportedly pregnant with her first child, slipped on stage while performing for a live audience.
Wearing high heels, short skirt and fishnet stockings, the We Belong Together hitmaker lost her balance when delivering verses from her 1992 Make It Happen for the audience in Singapore over the weekend, reported Aceshowbiz.
The singer was quickly approached by her male dancers who helped her get back on her feet. Seeing the humour in it, she jokingly told the crowd, “I did that on purpose!” Carey’s performance was held as part of LG Live at 2010 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix celebration. Her set included Emotions, It’s Like That, Butterfly, Hero and One Sweet Day.

Paris settles suit with Hallmark
London: Socialite Paris Hilton has settled a lawsuit she brought against a greeting cards manufacturer over allegations the company used her image without permission.
The 29-year-old heiress sued bosses at Hallmark in 2007 claiming they used her picture and her catchphrase, “That’s Hot!” on a card which was captioned “Paris’s First Day as a Waitress”, reported contactmusic.
Hilton alleged the card was based on a scene from her hit reality TV show The Simple Life and claimed her publicity rights had been violated. She had been expected to battle it out with Hallmark heads in court in December, but last week lawyers for both sides told a California judge they had reached a settlement. The details of the agreement have not been released. —PTI
