Hollywood actress Alicia Silverstone has given birth to a baby boy and the 'Clueless' star has named her bundle of joy, Bear Blu. The 34-year-old and husband Christopher Jarecki welcomed the child on Thursday, reported People magazine online.

The child, who weighed in 7 lbs, was given the rather unusual name by his parents who are "completely in love", said the couple's spokesperson.

Silverstone said on April that she couldn't wait for her new role as a parent.

"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was two years old, I'm destined to be a mother," Silverstone said.

She wed Jarecki, 40, the lead singer of group S.T.U.N. in June 2005 after dating him for eight years.

The actress is now set to star in the upcoming films 'Vamps and Butter'.
