Aniston won’t act in Scream 4

Horror movie fans’ wish to see Jennifer Aniston get butchered by a masked psycho killer in Scream 4 will remain unfulfilled as the actress is not going to be a part of the movie.
A recent tabloid report claimed that the 41-year-old actress will play a woman killed off in the opening sequence of the fourth instalment of the thriller series, as a “favour” to her former Friends co-star Courtney Cox.
But a representative for the Weinstein Company, which is producing the film, has termed this casting report as “not true”, Us magazine reported.
Aniston, who usually sticks to romantic comedies, hasn’t appeared in a horror flick since 1993’s cult classic Leprechaun.
Cox, who stars as Gale Weathers in the series, will be reprising her role in the fourth movie with husband David Arquette.

Bollywood being led by Salman

Colombo

Salman Khan is stealing the show this time and is leading the Bollywood brigade at the International Indian Film Academy awards being held in Colombo.
Big B, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and other big names are staying away from the event for fear of facing a boycott from the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
The SIFCC which condemned the alleged atrocities of the Sri Lankan government on Tamils, has declared that it will not let the movies of any actor who attends the awards ceremony be screened in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The chamber also claimed that no technician and music composer from the south will cooperate with Bollywood actors and directors who attend the event.
Fearing the wrath of South film fraternity, director Mani Ratnam, music director A.R. Rahman and actors Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan among others have kept away from the event.
So, its Bollywood studman Salman who is leading the team of actors to the IIFA this time. He even agreed to be the brand ambassador for IIFA.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
