Anupam Kher quits Hitler film

Actor Anupam Kher has walked out of the movie Dear Friend Hitler saying that he wants to “respect my fans’ opinion”. “I had taken up the role as I considered it a challenge and after carefully monitoring the portrayal of the character. However, considering the ill-will that the project is generating among my fans, I wish to withdraw from it as I respect their sentiments. I have never been moved by commercial considerations. But I have always respected social opinions,” Anupam told IANS through an email from Scotland.
Dear Friend Hitler reportedly shows how the German dictator contributed to India’s independence and what happened to soldiers in Bose’s Azad Hind Legion in Germany.
The actor also revealed that he was moved by the messages sent by people. “I am deeply moved by the outpouring of messages on social networks, the letters which I have received and the protestations I have hea-rd about from organisations in many countries in the past four days about my role as Adolf Hitler in a forthcoming film,” he said.

Coleman is cremated sans funeral
London: Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman’s remains were cremated on Friday in his hometown in Utah without a funeral. Coleman’s 2005 will specifies that he did not want a funeral, said Robert Jeff, the special administrator of the actor’s estate, reported Daily Mail online.
Coleman who died at the age of 42, after being taken off life-support by ex-wife Shannon Price post a comatose stage, had specified that the no media person be allowed to attend the cremation.
“I direct my personal representative to permit no members of the press to be present at my wake or funeral,” Coleman stated. In a earlier will, dated 2009, Coleman had stated that he wanted to be remembered in a wake conducted away from the public eye and by people who had no financial ties to him so that they “can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman”. Meanwhile Price has brought forth a note, hand written by Cole in 2007, which names her as the sole heir. But his 2005 will names former girlfriend, Anna Grey, as the lawful administrator of Coleman’s estate. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
