Beyonce, Jay-Z crash block party

Residents of West Orange county had a uninvited guest at their block party when R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles and husband, rap mogul Jay-Z, joined them for some dancing and hotdogs.
The 29-year-old singer joined the celebrations when she and hubby Jay-Z recently visited his mother in West Orange. In a video posted on Youtube, the Bootylicious hitmaker, wearing a white T-shirt and black leggings, is seen dancing with a group of locals who copied her moves.
Though the singer was casually dressed, she added some glamour to the outfit by pairing it with six-inch heels. Knowles released her latest album, I Am...Sasha Fierce in November 2008. She is reportedly working on her new record and producer Los Da Mystro recently hinted that the her new single may be out in October.

Star Wars set for 3-D release
Los Angeles: The Star Wars franchise is all set to get a 3-D treatment. George Lucas will released the 3-D version beginning with Phantom Menace in 2012.
Although 3-D versions have been rumoured for some time, Lucas purportedly was waiting until there were enough screens available to make the release a sizeable event. Fox, which released all six original Star Wars films, also would release the 3-D versions.
The first episode The Phantom Menace would be first out of star-dock during early 2012. After that, each film would be released in order at the same time in consecutive years, depending on how well the first release does, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Each 3-D conversion takes at least a year to complete. Lucas said that James Cameron’s Avatar convinced him that Star Wars was ready for the state-of-the-art 3D treatment.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
