Bundchen top-earning model with $25m
Brazilian stunner Gisele Bundchen has been named the world’s highest-earning supermodel beating the likes of Heidi Klum and Kate Moss.
She has retained her Numero Uno status as the catwalk queen even though she scaled back her career to concentrate on motherhood.
The sexy siren who became a first-time mother in December 2009 after she and her American football star husband Tom Brady welcomed son Benjamin, has openly spoken about giving top priority to being a good mom. Despite that, she pulled in $25 million in 2009 despite being pregnant for most of it. The latest rich list compiled by Forbes puts German model Klum as the second richest for pulling in $16 million from ad campaigns and her role as a judge on US fashion show Project Runway.
British beauty Moss came in at number three, by earning around $9 million in 2009 thanks partly to her hugely successful clothing range at Topshop, as well as a newly launched perfume.
Other catwalk stars that made it to the top 10 included Bundchen’s fellow Brazilian Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr and Dutch newcomer Doutzen Kroes.
