Case on Brand, Perry for disturbing wildlife

A local court in Swai Madhopur will hear the complaint of the alleged violation of the Wildlife Act during the wedding of Russell Brand and Katy Perry near the Ranthmabore National Park on October 30.
The complainant, Akshay Sharma filed a criminal complaint before the chief judicial magistrate and sought an action against hotelier, the couple and guests. According to the complaint, the couple and their friends caused noise pollution and violated wildlife laws.
According to the complainant, the hotelier did not have permission to organise the event that disrupted wildlife. The hotelier allowed heavy lighting around the tiger park and played loud music that disturbed the animals, said the complainant.
A group of media persons also made a complaint to chief minister Ashok Gehlot while he was on visit to Swai Madhopur. The CM referred the complaint to the local administration.
Perry and Brand, who married on October 23 at Aman-i-Khas luxury resort near Ranthambore, left for Male for their honeymoon on Monday.
