Devgn fined for smoking on film set

The cast and crew of Golmaal 3 are getting into a lot “golmaal” these days. On a lengthy shoot in Goa, they had been reprimanded for littering the Panaji promenade and the crew continuously ticked off for smoking in public.

The film’s hero Ajay Devgn, was photographed smoking on the sets and a tobacco watchdog on Wednesday has asked the Goa health authorities to fine Devgn. This was the second time Devgn has been caught smoking in public — the earlier instance being in Chandigarh — and the authorities are terming Devgn a “habitual offender”.
Actors Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor, also part of the crew, were earlier this month caught smoking while signing autographs at a college. They were let off with a warning from National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) after Warsi gave an unconditional apology.
