Drummer Cable found dead in UK
Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable was found dead at his home in Wales on Monday.
Cable was a founding member of the Welsh rock band, which rose to fame in the 1990s, but left in 2003 and pursued a career in media, presenting a weekend rock show on BBC Radio Wales, as well as forming a new band, Killing for Company.
“Rest peacefully. Stuart Cable 19 May 1970 — 7 June 2010. You will be missed,” read a message on Killing for Company’s website.
South Wales police confirmed the sudden death of a 40-year-old man at a house in the town of Aberdare at 04:30 GMT on Monday morning. “Cause of death has not yet been established, however there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage. Next of kin have been informed,” the police said in a statement.

Lady Gaga stopped at Heathrow
London: Pop star Lady Gaga’s weird fashion sense landed her in an uncomfortable situation at the Heathrow airport when her studded outfit tagged her as a security risk.
The Paparazzi hitmaker had just finished the last of her shows in the UK and was set to board a plane back to New York when airport security apprehended her.
The 24-year-old singer’s rubber outfit and spiked handbag caused her to be red flagged. Gaga was then pulled aside by airport security and subjected to a full body scan, reported People online.
When officials realised it was the Grammy Award winning singer’s outfit which had raised the alarm, they allowed her to carry on with her trip. Famous for her outrageous outfits, Gaga was dressed in a leather jumpsuit and heel-less hoof-like clompy shoes, carrying a huge studded handbag. —PTI
