Firth may become Sir Colin
His inspiring role as stuttering King George VI has already won him the Best Actor Oscar and now Colin Firth is on his way to pick up a knighthood.
Colin has been nominated for the Queen’s Birthday Honours list and looks set to pick up a knighthood.
Nominations have already closed and are now being considered by a committee led by the Cabinet Office and an announcement will be made in June, the Daily Mail reported quoting sources. According to sources the actor is likely to become Sir Colin thanks to his royal role. “Colin has been a great ambassador for Britain throughout his career and his sensitive portrayal of King George VI has won him much admiration among the Royal Family ? and, of course, the film’s many fans,” the source added. The Queen has had a private screening of the movie, which also picked up four Oscars.

Doctors might amputate Gabor’s 2nd leg
Washington: Doctors have apparently said that Zsa Zsa Gabor needs to have her second leg amputated.
The 94-year-old was admitted to hospital after blood flow to her left leg suddenly stopped, reports RadarOnline.
But her husband actor Frederic Prinz von Anhalt has refused the surgery because medicos advised she had a “50-50 chance” of surviving the procedure.
Most of Gabor’s right leg was amputated in January because of gangrene.
She will be released from hospital on Friday. —ANI
