Freddie showers praise on old foe Lee

Andrew Flintoff and Michael Vaughan led the tributes for old rival Brett Lee, who announced his retirement from international cricket.
The Australian fast bowler announced his retirement on Friday from all forms of international cricket.
The 35-year-old pacer had earlier retired from Test cricket in February 2010 after taking 310 wickets in 76 matches, but continued playing for Australia in one-day matches and in the Twenty20 arena.
The abiding image of Lee came in the Ashes series in 2005, as he was consoled by Flintoff after narrowly failing to lead Australia to an unlikely victory at Edgbaston, the Daily Express reports.
“The game has lost one of its few gentlemen,” tweeted former England all-rounder Flintoff.
And he was joined by ex-Test skipper Vaughan, who added: “Congratulations to Brett Lee on a great career. I’d love to say it was great playing against him, but it was frightening most of the time.”
Former England batsman Paul Collingwood said: “There are a lot of happy batsmen out there now. Well done on an amazing career, he wore the baggy green with pride.”
