Hrithik’s Kites opens in London
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was greeted by hysterically shrieking fans at Leicester Square in London on Tuesday evening as he attended the European premiere of his latest film, Kites.
The film, produced by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan, also stars Mexican actress Barbara Mori, who is of Uruguayan and Japanese descent.
Mori, dressed in a short black dress, said her Bollywood experience had been amazing and that she would definitely consider working in another Bollywood film.
The film, which is set in the United States and Mexico, will release worldwide on May 21.
It will be released in over 2,300 screens worldwide, making it the biggest ever Indian film release till date globally.

Taylor gets artiste of the year award
London: Country singer Taylor Swift has been named Artiste of the Year by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM).
“We are thrilled to welcome Taylor back to NARM, and we are especially proud to recognise her extraordinary creative and commercial achievements with our Artiste of the Year Award,” contactmusic.com quoted NARM president Jim Donio as saying.
“She has made a brilliant and stellar contribution to the music industry in just a few years and we congratulate her on this much-deserved honour,” he added. The Love Story hitmaker was honoured at the NARM’s annual gala in Chicago. —IANS
