lars Von Trier questioned over Hitler remarks
Director Lars Von Trier said he was questioned on Wednesday by the Danish police for possibly breaking French law when he joked about Nazis and Hitler at the Cannes film festival in May. In a statement, the controversial 55-year-old added that he would not make any more public statements or give interviews.
“Due to these serious accusations I have realised that I do not possess the skills to express myself unequivocally and I have therefore decided from this day forth to refrain from all public statements and interviews,” he said.
The acclaimed filmmaker’s remarks during a press conference in Cannes prompted the festival to expel him, an unprecedented move that could severely hamper his attempts to finance and make movies in the future.

Fan designs a wooden bike for John
Even the most passionate bikers would not have seen something like this. Raj Shantanu, a young man from Muzaffarnagar district, has designed a bike made out of wood, reports our correspondent.
Christened as the “Woody passion”, this wooden bike is longer and heavier than normal bikes and has a self start system. The bike, made form rosewood, is nine feet long and weighs about 190 kg. The engine capacity is 180 cc and it can move at a speed of 80 km per hour with a mileage of 15 km per litre.
This unique bike is designed as a gift for actor John Abraham who is also known for his passion for motorbikes. “The bike could have been made smaller but keeping in mind the towering personality of John Abraham, I gave it a length that would suit his personality,” says Shantanu, 22. Incidentally, the young man does not know how to reach out to John Abraham and gift him the bike.
