Lohan photographed with white substance

Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan may have come close to a prison stint just a day earlier, but she does not seem to have learnt her lesson as the actress was photographed with a white substance, thought to be cocaine.
The 23-year-old star, who has been hogging the headlines for all the wrong reasons in the past months, was due to appear before judge Marsha Revel in Los Angeles amid allegations that she violated her probation by not attending alcohol education classes. The Mean Girls star faces court in Los Angeles next week after missing a probation hearing to party at the Cannes Film Festival. The new pictures which emerged on the Internet show her sitting on a bed with the white substance and a credit card, reported Sun online.
Prosecutor Danette Meyers, set to call for a six-month jail term, said “I hope that’s not cocaine in the photo.” Lohan is free on $100,000 bail but is banned from consuming alcohol and faces weekly drug tests.

Padma goes public with her affair
New York: Former model and celebrity chef Padma Lakshmi has publicly confessed her feelings for US billionaire Teddy Forstmann after declaring him “the person that I love”.
The 39-year-old actress, who was married to author Salman Rushdie, gave an emotional speech at the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s Blossom Ball recounting her own struggle with the medical condition and her delight at falling pregnant in 2009.
The Top Chef host gave birth to daughter Krishna in February this year and she publicly thanked Forstmann for supporting her throughout the pregnancy, acknowledging their romance for the first time, reported New York Post. “I am lucky to have someone who unwaveringly gave me love and manly support — and is also the person that I love. So thank you, Teddy,” Lakshmi said during her speech.
The Indian-born beauty, who has repeatedly refused to name the father of the baby, has been linked to Forstmann for months and he was initially rumoured to be the child’s dad.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
