Mena weds boyfriend at Vatican

American Beauty actress Mena Suvari wed boyfriend Simone Sestito, who is six years her junior, at an intimate ceremony at a chapel in Vatican City.
The 31-year-old actress wed the Italian concert producer in front of close friends and family, reported People magazine online.

Suvari who starred in the sex comedy American Pie, was earlier married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who was 18 years older than her, from 2000 to 2006. This time around she has chosen someone closer to her in age, in 25-year-old Sestito, who she has been dating for the past three years.
The pair, who got engaged in 2008, chose a private chapel within the Vatican City for their ceremony as most of the groom’s family live around Rome. Suvari went to great lengths to keep her husband’s family happy and had her wedding dress customised to cover her tattoos. —PTI
