Mudgal lends voice to Environment Day song
Three Indian musicians have come together to create a song to support World Environment Day celebrations. Written by Sam Panchamukhi, voiced by Shubha Mudgal and composed by Debjyoti Mishra, the song praises nature and aims to create awareness among Indians about the depleting forest cover. This is also the theme for this year’s Environment Day celebrations.
“I think music can be a powerful tool for communicating important messages to the public and we have tried to do our best to do that with this song,” said Mudgal.
The aim, says Mishra, known for his exceptional work in the film Raincoat, is not to preach but to persuade people to take actions to save the environment.
“I am confident that this song will make one think and wonder about the wonders of nature and make a positive difference,” he said.
