Neil Patrick Harris to marry partner Burtka

After the legalisation of gay marriage in New York, How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris has decided to tie the knot with his partner, David Burtka.
Harris, 38, who plays the womanising Barney Stinson in the hit American sitcom, is planning to say “I do” after the passing of the historic bill, reported Us magazine. “David and I did propose to each other, but over five years ago! We’ve been wearing engagement rings for ages, waiting for an available date,” Harris wrote on Twitter. Prior to passing of the bill by the New York state senate and governor Andrew Cuomo on Friday, Harris tweeted that he’d “sure love to get married.”
“Please, New York Senate, vote in favour of marriage equality today. My family would really appreciate it,” wrote Harris. After the bill was passed Harris rejoiced with his followers.

Gaga faces lawsuit over charity funds
Los Angeles: Lady Gaga is facing a $5 million lawsuit for allegedly pocketing money from the sale of wristbands meant for the Japan tsunami relief.
The 26-year-old singer has been slapped with a federal class action by the Michigan based law firm — 1-800-LAW-FIRM.
The firm has accused the Poker Face hitmaker of misappropriating charitable donations from the sale of “We Pray for Japan” wristbands, which she designed for the tsunami and earthquake victims of the country, reported AceShowbiz. The pop diva, who organised the charity event shortly after earthquake and tsunami hit the island nation, had made an online arrangement for the sale of the bracelets and had claimed that “all proceeds will go directly to Japan relief efforts”.
The bracelets were charged $5, another $3.99 for shipping and handling and $0.60 for taxes. But the firm claimed that she jacked up the shipping costs. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
