Not hosting MSD party, says Bipasha

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has denied reports that she along with boyfriend John Abraham will throw a party for their friend, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Rawat.
“Ok for everyone who thinks me and John are hosting a party for Mahi, just want to say it is a rumour. Not true!” Bipasha clarified through micro-blogging site Twitter. John and Bipasha are close friends of Dhoni, who tied the knot with Sakshi on Sunday evening at a very private affair on the outskirts of Dehradun, a day after the couple’s hush-hush engagement. While John made it to the wedding, Bipasha couldn’t attend the event as she was busy shooting in Diu.

Madge seeks help for her ageing hands
London: Pop diva Madonna is reportedly taking help from her dermatologist in order to make her “granny” hands look younger.
The 51-year-old star is seeing Dr Fredric Brandt for treatment on her veiny hands and until then she is trying to make sure they stay hidden from prying lenses, reported Mirror online. “She’s managed to work wonders with her face over the past few years, but hands have always been the big age giveaway. Madonna says her hands are too ‘old lady’,” said a source. According to sources she has had scierotherapy, in which a solution is injected into a vein causing it to turn white and gradually disappear. —PTI

‘Polanski decision very soon’
Los Angeles: Swiss authorities are reportedly nearing a decision whether to extradite filmmaker Roman Polanski to the US where he is wanted in a 33-year-old sex case.
Swiss newspaper Sonntags Zeitung quoted a justice ministry spokesman saying, “it won’t be long” before a decision on the extradition request is made, Variety reported.
In April, an appeals court denied Polanski’s attempt to end the case. Polanski’s attorneys had been asking for the director to be sentenced to time served.
Swiss authorities have said they have been awaiting the decision by the court on Polanski’s appeal before deciding over extradition. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
