Orson Welles’ long-lost film found in Italy

Legendary filmmaker Orson Welles long missing 1938 short film Too Much Johnson has been found in Italy. A slapstick comedy, the long-missing silent film has been restored for an October premiere.
The 35mm nitrate work print was discovered in a warehouse in Pordenone and turned over to the George Eastman House for restoration and preservation, reported Deadline.
Shot three years before Welles made his famous classic Citizen Kane, the film was one of three shorts starring Joseph Cotten, Arlene Francis and Ruth Ford that were planned. They were to be shown as prologues to each act of a Mercury Theatre stage production of William Gillette’s 1894 play Too Much Johnson. Welles could never complete the movies and his stage show did not do well.

Willis wanted $1m/day for Expendables?
Los Angeles: Sylvester Stallone reportedly replaced
Bruce Willis from Expendables 3 because the actor demanded $1 million per day.
Stallone publicly slammed Willis for being “greedy” while announcing that Harrison Ford was replacing him. He took to Twitter to express his anger, tweeting “GREEDY AND LAZY... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE.” Willis, 58, was reportedly offered $3 million for four days of work shooting in Bulgaria but said he would drop out if he didn’t get $4 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “He said he’d drop out unless he got $4 million. A million dollars
a day. Stallone and everybody else involved said no,” a source close to the production said.
“I think (Willis) was pretty surprised he was replaced in 72 hours by Harrison Ford.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
