Shania in talks to judge Idol?

Canadian singer Shania Twain has become the latest celebrity to be in talks about joining American Idol as a judge.
The 44-year-old country music star is said to be in talks to sit on the judges’ table on the 10th season of the hit FOX TV talent show, People reported online.
“Shania is a huge fan of the show and she had a great time as a mentor,” a source said.

he Grammy-award-winning singer was a guest judge on the show during last season’s Chicago auditions, and mentored the contestants in an episode in April.
With Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres both departing the talent search, the network had been pursuing a number of celebrities as potential judges, including Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and pop star Jennifer Lopez. —PTI
