Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal end relationship

Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal’s romance with country sweetheart Taylor Swift has ended just two months after it began.
The couple, who began dating in October split up last month and spent Christmas apart, reported People magazine.
“They’re over. It ended last month,” said a source close to the couple adding that it was the Brokeback Mountain actor who decided to end the relationship.
“Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested. He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got,” added the source. The 30-year-old actor was not happy with the constant media attention.
“He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor was told not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen. Jake cares about her, but the publicity was a lot for him. He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor,” said the source.
The couple were last seen together in public on December 9.

Gaga is top-selling cover girl
New York: She is the best-selling artiste of the past year and popstar Lady Gaga is also 2010’s most bankable cover girl. The popstar helped sell more magazines than any other celebritiy and her Rolling Stone cover was the best selling issue of the year, reported New York Post online.
The July cover of the magazine, showing the singer preserving her dignity with a bondage bikini and a couple of huge guns sold 250,000 copies, more than three times the monthly average. Cosmopolitan’s April cover, where the popstar was wearing skin coloured lingerie, was also their best-selling issue of the 2010. Taylor Swift’s popularity was less variable, she proved to be publishing poison. —PTI

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
