Taylor Swift becomes a comic star
Country singer Taylor Swift has been immortalised in print — she will feature in a 25-page comic book titled Fame: Taylor Swift. The comic book chronicles the singer’s childhood and her rise to superstardom. It’ll also feature her screen kiss with one-time boyfriend Taylor Lautner in Valentine’s Day and her infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards stage encounter with rapper Kanye West, reports contactmusic.Com.
It is being presented by Bluewater productions. Fame: Taylor Swift comic book is part of a series of graphic biographies featuring the stories of soccer star David Beckham, former US First Lady Hillary Clinton who is now serving as secretary of state in Barrack Obama’s government, and Lady GaGa.

Human bite ‘stronger than apes’
Washington: Contrary to a popular belief, scientists claim to have found evidence that the lightly built human skull has a far more efficient bite than those of the chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans.
The surprise findings, by an international team, have suggested that early modern humans did not necessarily need to use tools and cooking to process high-nutrient hard foods such as nuts — and perhaps less tough foods such as meat — but may have lost an ability to eat very tough items.
In their study, the scientists found modern humans can achieve relatively high bite forces using less-powerful jaw muscles. In short, the human skull doesn’t have to be as robust because, for any given bite force, the sum of forces acting on the human skull is much less. —PTI
