Tyra to publish her debut novel

American supermodel and talk-show host Tyra Banks is all set to publish her first novel.
The novel, to be titled Modelland,” is one of a three-book deal with Random House and is expected to be published in summer 2011, New York Post reported.
“It’s for all the girls and guys who want a lot more fantasy in their lives... And some fierceness and magic, romance and mystery, crazy and wild adventures, and yeah, some danger too,” Banks wrote on her website describing her new book.
The 36-year-old beauty, who retired from modelling in 2005, hosted a day-time talk show from 2005 until it was cancelled in 2010.
She also produces and serves as a judge on the hit reality show America’s Next Top Model.
Writing is not a new territory for Banks as she authored a how-to make-up book in 1998, titled Tyra’s Beauty, Inside and Out and Modelland will be her first fiction book.
