US man eats 54 hot dogs in 10 mins
American Joey “Jaws” Chestnut has wolfed down 54 hot dogs in 10 minutes to claim his fourth consecutive world title in one of the planet’s most bizarre sports: competitive eating.
But the New York event was marred on Sunday by the arrest of Takeru “Tsunami” Kobayashi, Chestnut’s arch rival from Japan who had pulled out of the contest but tried to storm the stage and disrupt the victory ceremony.
The crowd chanted Let him eat! Let him eat!” but the police slapped handcuffs on Kobayashi.
Chestnut, the 26-year-old reigning champion, left the rest of the competition trailing as he retained the coveted prize, a mustard-yellow prize-fighter’s belt, with room to spare.
Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is the Super Bowl of competitive eating and the belt, which comes along with a purse of $20,000, is considered the holy grail.
The event has become so popular in the United States that it is shown live on the cable channel ESPN.

Cougar to reveal kiss with Harry
London: A blonde “cou-gar” is set to spill the beans about a passionate kiss with Prince Harry, on a reality TV show. Catherine Davies kissed the royal after they spent a night drinking in London in 2006.
She was forced to deny rumours that they went any further and never revealed what Harry, then 21, said as they parted.
Now Catherine, who later moved to Washington, has been paid to reveal her secrets on reality TV show, The Real Housewives of DC.
“Not many people have kissed a real-life prince, and Catherine is one of them. Her encounter with Harry will be in the show,” the Sun quoted a TV insider as saying. “He gave me a long, lovely kiss. I was completely blown away,” Catherine said. —ANI
