Would love to visit India: Kim Kardashian

After pop diva Lady Gaga, India could soon see a visit from US reality star and socialite Kim Kardashian who says she would love to go to the country and experience its fashion and traditions.

"I would love to go to India," Kardashian, in the city to attend Indian-American businessman Vikram Chatwal's 40th birthday bash, told PTI.

She said she loves and is inspired by Indian fashion and clothes that her part-Indian designer friend Rachel Roy wears and is keen to visit the country to experience it herself.

"I would love to just go there (India) and see for myself and get inspired and get some traditional clothes from there," Kardashian said.

"I love all the colours (in Indian culture), love the gold, bangles, which are really popular in the US right now."

The 31-year-old 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who recently married basketball player Kris Humphries, said hopefully her next vacation with her husband will be to India.

Recently back from a trip to the West Asia, which she described as an "amazing experience," Kardashian said, "my next stop is India."

Chatwal walked the red carpet with Kardashian for his star-studded birthday bash at his luxurious Dream Hotel in Manhattan. He said he looks forward to working with Kardashian, whom he described as a "really good friend" on a charity project in India.

Chatwal said Kardashian's enterprising nature is a source of inspiration to a lot of people.
