Dominant Manudev remains unbeaten snooker champion
It’s been five years since I.H Manudev returned from his self-imposed 10-year exile from cue sports and since his come back the 37-year-old from Chickmaglur has been a dominant force on the state snooker circuit.
Asserting his supremacy, the defending champion annexed his fifth consecutive state snooker title, winning the Indian Oil Servo Karnataka State ranking tournament.
On Sunday, at the KSBA, Manudev outplayed Yogesh Kumar M in the summit clash with a 6-1 scoreline.
Yogesh, who runs a snooker parlour in his hometown Davanagere and playing his maiden final, could not match up to Manudev’s experience and expertise on the table.
Both the players will represent the state at the Nationals to be held in Gwalior next year.
Yogesh, who made his third appearance at the state championship, will make his Nationals debut.
