India to host 3rd Commonwealth Nations Bridge C'ship

Defending Champions India will host the 3rd Commonwealth Nations Bridge Championship from October 24 to 29, the organisers said on Thursday.

"This is first ever international bridge event to happen in India. It will be held at the Cabana Apartments at Ghaziabad and 19 countries have confirmed participation for the event," a press release from the Bridge Federation Of India, said.

India won the gold medal in the last edition of the event, held in Melbourne in 2006. England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the prominent teams that have confirmed their participation.
