Indus hoopsters runaway victors

Jan. 7: It was a fantastic day for Indus World School hoopsters, who won the boy’s and girl’s basketball matches during the DC Inter-Schools Sports Meet being held at Indus World School, Sainikpuri, on Friday.

In the boys event, Nihal and Pruthvi scored 10 and eight points respectively to help Indus World score a 22-13 win over Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Abhishek and Abhijeet scored six each for the losing side.

In the girls’ category, Srija and Anurima starred for Indus World with seven points each as they trounced Geetanjali Devshala 19-8.
