London Olympics: Vijay Kumar wins silver for India

Marksman Vijay Kumar made Indian team proud by winning nation's second medal at the London Olympics on Friday. The achievement came as a silver medal in the 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the Games.

The Gold medal was won by Leuris Pupo of Cuba and bronze medal by Ding Feng of China. The Indian finished four points behind the leader to bag the silver medal.

The Army man competed with five shooters for the silver lining.

Pre-Games medal favourite Ronjan Sodhi had on Thursday failed to qualify for the double trap event.
