Rashmika Rajan of Kinesis Tennis Academy outplayed third seed Nikita Pinto 6-0, 6-1 to claim the girls' U-16 title in the AITA Talent Series Tennis Championship organised by the Raghuveer Tennis Centre in Mysore. This was 12year old Rashmika's maiden title triumph in the under-16 section.
C.Vashist of Karnataka bagged the boys U-16 title with a 6-1, 7-6 (4) win over R. Ramakrishnan of Tamil Nadu.
Results (All finals): Boys: U-16: C.Vashist tbt R.Ramakrishnan 6-1,7-6 (4); U-18: SD Prajwal Dev bt Mahesh Batheja 6-4, 6-4. Doubles: S.D.Prajwal Dev/Mahesh Batheja bt Alok Aradhya/R.Ramakrishnan 7-5, 6-3. Girls: U-16: Rashmika Rajan bt Nikita Pinto 6-0, 6-1; U-18: Nikita Pinto bt Preethi Bhandure 6-3, 7-5.
