St Andrews crowned champs

Jan. 9: St Andrews emerged victors defeating Army School, RK Puram 3-1 in the football event of the third edition of the DC Inter-Schools Sports Meet held on Sunday.

Jaskaran of Army School, who was in the limelight scoring goals in most of the matches, opened account in the 8th minute. Andrews levelled the score with a goal from M. Karthik in the 11th minute. A quick second goal from R. Karthik in the 12th minute got Andrews the lead.

R. Karthik scored another goal in the second half ending the game in favour of St Andrews.
