Toroloco triumphant

Irfan Ghatala-trained Toroloco was given a confident ride by Pradeep S. Chouhan to bag the Bangalore Derby, the highlight of the races held here on Friday.

P.S. Chouhan rode a well judged race. He settled Toroloco off the pace in a slow run race and improved places negotiating the final bend of the 2400 metres trip from almost 6th or 7th to be in contention mid-way up the stretch, before charging home to earn his first ever Derby win at this centre.
