Wesley boys win 3-1 on penalties; 5-0 win for Safa

Safa Junior College crushed NRI Junior College, Marredpally, 5-0 in their match at the inter-college football tournament, organised by the Shastri Soccer Club at the Trimulgherry Village Ground in Secunderabad on Thursday.
Earlier, Wesley Junior College beat Loyola Junior College 3-1 on penalties in a thriller. The match was a goalless draw in regulation time. Aziz led the scoring for Safa with a useful brace. Aziz's efforts were backed up with a goal each by V . Baid, Zubair and Musafir.
Both Wesley and Loyola didn't give an inch from the start of their match. Both sides matched each other as no goal was scored in regulation time. Mohit Soni, Avinash and Abhishek Kumar called the shots on what turned out to be a bowlers' day at the Hyderabad Cricket Association's top division league matches here. Mohit took six wickets including a hat-trick while conceding 29 runs as Marredpally Cricket Club bowled out National CC for 146 on the first day of their two-day game.
Mohit got rid of batsmen Nos. 5,6,7,9,10 and 11 to return with figures of 15.1-5-29-6.
