Fashion, they say, is just a beautiful illusion, and recently when designer duo Lecoanet Hemant created an illusionary ‘fashmob’ at the Gallery on MG, the guests couldn’t agree more. The evening was dedicated to the beautiful ensembles from the duo’s spring-summer 2012 collection, adorned by city socialites and designers, who walked across the central hall wearing pristine white lily flowers in their hair.
Speaking about the ‘fashmob’ concept, designer Hemant from the label, says, “It’s like an aquarium of pretty women, where they are strolling in soft summery dresses and creating an illusion of mob. Instead of a regular fashion show, we thought of dressing up real women in our recent collection in crisp cotton and linen.”
