A new shooting star

Shivani Dass presented photographic manifestations, titled, “Sanjeevani Anjeevani in a spectrum” at the Galerie Romain Rolland, Alliance Francaise in the capital recently. The show emotes Shivani’s personal impressions and expressions garnered in every location she travelled to put this together. It reflects the subtle cultural, grassroot nuances of Ladakh, Mysore, Agra, Banaras, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Himachal Pradesh and Kutch.
Shivani says, “My camera is a tool which gives me the power to assimilate the good in everything, over a short period of time, I have learnt to use this as passionately as I can. Having travelled to many places, I have gathered knowledge and an innovative sense to see people and their lives as it is, as they are, with many exceptions and legends.”
