Royal shine
Recently at the Zoya diamond boutique, a special collection of regal, heirloom jewellery in kundan-polki was displayed over wine and cheese do for the social glitterati of the capital.
A special guest at the event was young and pretty Ranisaheb Jayanandini Singh, a costume designer, who showcased her collection of traditional poshaks with pure gold and fine stones.
She said, “These are restored and reinvented poshaks that were worn at royal weddings and formal occasions inside royal courts.”
Spotted at the party were city socialites and members of various royal families, who came down specially to congratulate Jayanandini Singh for her endeavour.

Musical connect
At a recent live concert by singer Shafqat Amanat Ali, one could see music lovers and capital’s glam brigade joining hands to support a noble cause. The concert was organised at Eros Hilton, Nehru Place, by Pink Chain Foundation to help spread the message of love and peace. The foundation collected charity for women, who are suffering from breast cancer.
