Recently, The Taj Mahal Hotel witnessed a delightful gathering of capital’s social brigade at a carnival organised for spreading awareness about breast cancer. The occasion was to raise funds to support the Ogaan Cancer Foundation and Women’s Cancer Initiative of Tata Memorial hospital that works for this cause.
The carnival witnessed famous names of the fashion fraternity, who donated their creations for the charity. A silent auction featuring designer merchandise from various luxury brands was also held at the do. According to sources a sum total of around ` 2 crore was generated by this event for this noble cause.

Art for a cause
Delhi Dynamic Round Table and Dhoomimal Gallery towards the objective of providing education to under privileged children recently presented “Colours of Life — Freedom Through Education”.
The auction was a well attended event and included artworks by Jamini Roy, F.N.Souza, Krishen Khanna, Anjolie Ela Menon, M.F.Husain among many other works by contemporary artists that were auctioned.
