The Special Investigation Team probing the 2004 encounter of Ishrat Jahan and three others have informed the Gujarat High Court that the police action was 'fake'.
The probe has revealed that Ishrat and the three others were killed prior to the date of encounter - June 15, 2004.
A case of murder has now been filed against the policement involved in the action.
