Karan Johar, who has two releases Agneepath and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu lined up, seems to be getting rather hassled under their combined weight. With the result that his own directorial plans are taking a hit. The buzz is that Student Of The Year might be put on hold until KJo finds some time for himself.
“Student Of The Year, featuring the son and daughter of David Dhawan and Mahesh Bhatt respectively, has created a lot of buzz because it is the first time KJo is working with newcomers. But unfortunately, it seems, it would have to wait a while,” a source says.
With Karan also unwilling to let any other director take over the reins, the actors have no option but to wait for him to get free. “They are putting up a brave face, as they realise that with Karan Johar at the helm of affairs, they may get a good launch even if it’s a delayed one,” the source adds.
