Alistair’s verdict hits Salman

It looks like Salman Khan’s problems simply don’t seem to end for him. The disturbing memories of the past have come back to haunt Sallu. With the Supreme Court coming down heavily on Alistair Pereira, who was accused in the hit-and-run case in 2006, has now put the other hit-and-run cases under spotlight once again. Salman’s car rammed ran over five persons sleeping on a pavement in Bandra, killing one and injuring four. But with the case re-opening once again, Salman obviously is worried and upset.

At the Celebrity Cricket League that just concluded in Dubai, close associates say that he looked extremely disturbed. “He kept a low-key profile and wasn’t his usual cheerful self. Salman’s known to have a good time with friends and even with his family around, he didn’t seem to be in the best of spirits,” says a source adding, “Salman was locked up in his room for hours. This even delayed the match for a while.” Industry insiders who have observed Salman over the years say that the re-opening of the case may not be exactly what Salman would have wanted in his career at this point of time. “He is the most powerful actor with a 100 per cent success track record in 2011, he wouldn’t want anything to come in his way,” says a source.
