Ten-year-old Aishwarya Sharma, a student of Class 5 in a local school, has composed a song for vote appeal, based on the popular hit Kolaveri Di.
According to Aishwarya, she realised the importance of every vote from her mother Urvashi Sharma who is a social worker.
“My mother often spoke about the importance of casting your vote in democracy and I was so impressed that I thought I should make a song on this. Since I m very fond of Kolaveri Di, I decided to fit words into the tune and rhythm. After I was ready with my song, I sang it out to my mother and since was also very happy. We recorded it and posted it on YouTube,” says Aishwarya.
