So what if her love life is rumoured to be in shambles, professionally, Deepika Padukone is going strong. After reports that she will star opposite south superstar Rajinikanth in the ambitious Kochadaiyaan, we now hear that her other project with Rajini (Rana), which had been shelved for rather a long time, will also be given the green light soon. In fact, the makers of Rana say it is only a question of adjusting the dates. This must come as good news indeed to Dippy for Rana was nearly given up for dead.
“Those associated with Rana have said that the film will be definitely made. Yes, Rajini sir is currently doing Kochadaiyaan but it is only a stopgap arrangement before he roars again with Rana. He had to start with Kochadaiyaan since his health didn’t permit him yet to get into the heavy-duty stunts that Rana required,” a source close to the superstar’s family revealed.
If that is true then Dippy, and Sonu Sood (who was also part of the project) should soon find themselves working on the film again. Of course, Dippy isn’t exactly twiddling her thumbs in the meantime as her other assignments are keeping her more than busy. But this rare double bill with the legendary Rajini should make for a pleasant outcome for sure.
