Salman Khan is on the hunt for a powerful onscreen nemesis for Dabangg 2. The only problem: there’s just a month left for the shoot to start.
After a number of flip-flops over whether or not Sonu Sood would be in Dabangg 2 (just a week ago, Arbaaz Khan had hinted that the actor would be brought back), the final word is in. A source connected to the film says, “Sonu has now categorically stated that he will not be doing the role.” Apparently the actor felt the role would not be as strong as his Cheddi Singh character in Dabangg as it is secondary to that of the main villain, Prakash Raj. The hunt is on for an actor to fill Sonu’s shoes. And as Sallu is still away in Cuba, shooting for Ek Tha Tiger, Arbaaz has the job of shortlisting actors.
