West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew, Akash Banerjee, was on Wednesday arrested for allegedly slapping a Kolkata traffic policeman.
Banerjee's car was reportedly stopped after he was caught driving on the wrong side of the wrote, TV channels claimed.
The opposition have already started protests after local media claimed Akash and others 'walked free' from the police station after a 10-minute questioning.
