The Department of Phy-sics, Cochin University of Science and Technology, in association with the IUCAA Resource Centre and SPIE Cusat student chapter, is organising a workshop from April 23-28 called “Physics –scope and awareness” for school students who have completed standard IX and are entering standard X in 2012.
The workshop envisages providing students with an opportunity to interact with faculty members and give them a chance to witness some advanced experiments carried out in the research laboratories of the department of physics.
Students will gain hands-on experience on various core experiments in phys-ics, telescope making etc.
There is no fee for participation in the workshop. The last date for submission of applications is April 2.
