Sunny Deol’s plans of reviving his action hero image with Ghayal Returns may have taken a hit, and the film may have been put on the backburner. “Director Ashwini Chaudhary had different ideas from Sunny’s and they couldn’t get on any common ground,” says a source.
Apparently, Sunny wanted to reprise the action hero image once again, while the director had an altogether different direction. They eventually decided to part on an amicable note, and Rahul Rawail was roped in. “But then, he too fell sick and the film was again put on hold. Meanwhile, Sunny too moved on to Bhaiyyaji Superhit,” the source continues.
